New Delhi: India registered 4,575 fresh Covid cases and 145 fatalities in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this, the cumulative death toll due to the Covid pandemic has reached 5,15,355.
The active cases across the country stand at 0.11%, taking the total active caseload to 46,962.
Nearly 7,416 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative recoveries to 4,24,13,566.
The country’s daily positivity rate stands at 0.51% and weekly positivity rate at 0.62%.
A day prior to that, the country registered 3,993 fresh Covid cases and 108 fatalities in 24 hours.
