New Delhi: At least six people were killed and 11 others were injured in multiple bomb explosions near a school in Afghanistan’s capital Kabul today, the TOLO news reported.
The first blast happened near Mumtaz Tuition Center and was followed by two back-to-back explosions close to Abdul Raheem Shaheed High School in the same area, eyewitnesses told the Tolo news.
The Ministry of Interior confirmed the blasts near Abdul Raheem Shaheed High School, saying an investigation has started into the incident and details will be shared later, reports TOLO news.
According to the media, the blasts that took place in front of Abdul Rahim Shaheed High School happened while the students were leaving their classes.
However, no group has so far claimed responsibility for the blasts.
The Emergency Hospital in Kabul that is treating the wounded said in a tweet that they received seven injured children so far, the TOLO news reported.
