New Delhi: India registered 1,326 fresh Covid cases in the last 24 hours, Union Health Ministry Ministry said today.
The country’s active caseload stood at 17,912 constituting 0.04% of the total Covid cases, it said.
The cumulative death toll due to the pandemic since 2020 rose to 5,29,024.
The recovery rate is currently at 98.78%, with 1,723 patients being recovered in the last 24 hours, the ministry said.
With this the cumulative recoveries across the country have reached 4,41,06,656, it said.
The daily positivity rate stands at 1.59% and the weekly positivity rate is at 1.08%, the Ministry said.
With the administration of 25,433 Covid vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, the country’s cumulative vaccination coverage has reached 219.63 crores.
