Mumbai (NVI): Maharashtra government formation crisis ended dramatically with Devendra Fadnavis taking oath as the state’s Chief Minister along with NCP leader Ajit Pawar as his deputy.
Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari today morning administered the oath of the two leaders at Raj Bhawan here. Within minutes, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Fadnavis and Pawar.
Taking to twitter, Modi said “Congratulations to Devendra Fadnavis Ji and Ajit Pawar Ji on taking oath as the CM and Deputy CM of Maharashtra respectively. I am confident they will work diligently for the bright future of Maharashtra.”
