Srinagar, Aug 23 (NVI) : A day after National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah announced that it has entered into a pre-poll alliance with the Congress for upcoming Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections, NC vice president Omar Abdullah on Friday said that it has reached an agreement for most of the seats. However, consensus on a few seats still eludes.

Accompanying  senior party leader, Sakina Itoo  for filing her nomination from D.H.Pora, Abdullah told reporters that while the seat arrangements for most have been finalized, discussions on certain constituencies continue to be underway.

“A meeting will be held today to finalize the alliance details,” Abdullah said. He further added that the NC will come out with its candidate list before August 27 and added that the party has just filed its nomination in D.H.Pora, Kulgam.

“We have prepared our manifesto and are hopeful that the public will support us for the next five years, he added. (News Vibes of India)
