Quetta (Balochistan) : Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) tonight claimed to have killed 4 personnel of occupying Pakistan Army and injured 10 in an attack in Kalat district of Balochistan.
Fighters of the Baloch Liberation Army targeted a military truck of the occupying Pakistani army in Kalat with an IED attack on Friday, its spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said in a statement.
He said the BLA fighters blew up the truck carrying the Pakistani soldiers using a remote-controlled IED in Nurmak Takht area of Kalat.
The vehicle was destroyed in the explosion, he said, adding 4 soldiers were killed on the spot and at least 10 others were injured, some critically.
“BLA fighters targeted the enemy army as it moved in a convoy of several vehicles for military aggression in the area,” the spokesman said.
“After suffering losses in the attack, the enemy indiscriminately fired multiple mortar shells in various directions, showing disregard for civilian lives and property, putting both at risk,” Jeeyand Baloch.
“Our organization, the Baloch Liberation Army, claims responsibility for the attack,” he said.
