Quetta, June 7 (NVI): Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed to have killed 12 personnel of the occupying Pakistan Army and left 7 injured in 3 separate attacks in Balochistan over the last two days.

These attacks in Quetta, Noshki, Kalat and Mastung districts included IEDs and armed assaults, BLA spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said.

He said BLA freedom fighters targeted an occupying Pakistani Army vehicle by detonating a remote-controlled IED near the main RCD highway in the ‘Do aye’ area of Noshki district on June 5 when the enemy personnel were moving in two vehicles.

As a result of the attack, one of the occupying army vehicles was completely destroyed and all 9 personnel on board were eliminated on the spot, the spokesman said.

Yesterday, the BLA freedom fighters carried out an armed attack on an occupying army post situated in a college in the Mangochar area of Kalat district when a number of soldiers had assembled there, he said.

The freedom fighters fired several rounds using automatic weapons as well as grenade launchers, killing 3 occupying Pakistani Army personnel on the spot and injuring at least 4 others, he said.

In another incident last night, BLA freedom fighters carried out a grenade attack at a checkpoint of the occupying Pakistani Army at CCM Cross in Mastung, leaving 3 soldiers injured, Jeeyand Baloch said.

Suggesting that it was a revenge attack, the BLA spokesman said, “The occupying army, at the same location, has been humiliating the Baloch people in the name of blockade, with even women and elders detained for hours and their self-respect violated.

Earlier on June 3, BLA freedom fighters neutralized Gulzar, a key agent of occupying Pakistani Army, near Tariq Hospital on Sariab Road, Quetta, the spokesman said.

Gulzar Naseer, along with informants for the occupying army, used to recruit people for the enemy by luring and threatening them, he said.

“The said agent was found to be directly involved in the enforced disappearances of Baloch youth by the occupying forces,” Jeeyand Baloch said. (NVI)
