Quetta, July 11 (NVI) Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) tonight announced end of its ‘Operation Baam’, saying “app objectives” were successfully achieved as 59 Pakistani soldiers and secret agents were killed and 51 wounded in 84 attacks across occupied Balochistan during these 3 days.

During the Operation Baam, which means ‘dawn’, BLF freedom fighters carried out coordinated actions across Makran, Rakhshan, Kolwah, Sarawan, Jhalawan, Koh-e-Sulaiman, Bela, and Kachhi, effectively crippling the colonial administrative machinery of the occupying Pakistani state, said its spokesman Major Gwharam Baloch in a statement.

The operation was launched on July 9 with an aim of carrying out intensified attacks on military and is economic interests of occupier Pakistani State.

“During this wide-scale operation, a total of 84 attacks were carried out across Balochistan, causing significant damage to Pakistani forces and state institutions on various fronts,” the spokesman said.

“In these actions, at least 50 personnel of the Frontier Corps (FC) and Army were killed, while more than 51 others were injured,” he said.

Additionally, 9 operatives from intelligence agencies were also eliminated, the spokesman said.

During the operation, 7 mobile towers, along with their machinery, were set ablaze and 22 checkpoints and blockades were established at various strategic points, he said.

A total of 25 vehicles, including trucks involved in transporting minerals and gas tankers, were destroyed or disabled, he said.

In targeting the surveillance infrastructure, more than 5 surveillance drone cameras and quadcopters were also shot down, the spokesman said.

One bank was set on fire, while a bus belonging to a government secretariat was damaged, he added.

The 84 attacks included over 30 direct attacks on Army and FC personnel, 2 attacks on Military Intelligence (MI) and the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), 4 ambush-style attacks, one attack on Customs, one on Coast Guard, 4 on Levies checkpoints, 4 attacks targeting the police, according to the statement.

In several operations, weapons were seized at more than 4 locations, including one instance where a bank guard’s weapon was taken, the spokesman said.

“This operation reflects the organized and strategic military capabilities of the BLF, aimed at directly challenging the occupation, military presence, and exploitative systems imposed by the Pakistani state,” Major Baloch said.

“Operation Baam not only represents a shift in the military strategy and operational strength of the Balochistan Liberation Front, but also signifies a major development in the broader Baloch national liberation movement,” he said.

“Through Operation Baam, the BLF has sent a direct message to the occupying state of Pakistan:The days of its forced occupation and colonial plunder of Balochistan are numbered,” he said.

“The occupying state can no longer maintain its writ through violence, repression, and brute force nor can it deceive the Baloch nation through conspiracies, divide-and-rule tactics, hypocritical propaganda of Islamic brotherhood, false democracy, or the illusions of so-called parliamentary politics,” he said.

“The ugly and foul reality of Greater Punjab, Punjabi chauvinism, and fascism under the banner of Pakistan has been fully exposed to the Baloch nation

“We make it absolutely clear to the occupying Pakistani state and Punjabi rulers that Balochistan will no longer remain the ‘goose that lays golden eggs’.

“Any Punjabi effort to continue the forced occupation of Balochistan will lead only to fire and blood.

“The longer the Punjabi ruling class including their politicians, intellectuals, and supporters delay in accepting Balochistan’s independence and ending Pakistan’s occupation, the heavier the price they will have to pay.” (NVI)
