Quetta, Aug 6 (NV) In the most inhumane move, the Pakistani regime has imposed a comprehensive clampdown in occupied Balochistan, suspending internet, electricity, water and even healthcare facilities.
The gas supply and traffic movement in Balochistan have been also been severely disrupted.
“The situation in Balochistan is dire,” said a Baloch leader on condition of anonymity while sharing details about the repressive measures imposed by the Pakistani regime.
The Pakistani army has also been engaged in looting and robbing local residents of their homes in Balochistan.
According to the leader, the Pakistani regime has resorted to these oppressive measures as its occupying forces have been facing huge losses in terms of men and material due to the increased actions by armed Baloch groups.
In the recent weeks, armed Baloch freedom-seeking groups, particularly Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and Baloch Raaji Ajoi Sangar (BRAS), have intensified their attacks on the Pakistani military, which has resulted in huge casualties.
During the last 3 weeks, at least 3 Major-rank officers of Pakistan Army have been killed, along with several other soldiers, by Baloch fighters in a targeted manner.
Such incidents have reportedly dampened the morale of the Pakistani forces who are believed to be hesitant to travel or be posted in Balochistan. (NVI)
