Quetta, Sep 23 (NVI) Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has owned responsibility for 7 attacks across Balochistan, targeting Pakistan Army, its proxy ‘death squads’ and a gas pipeline and killing at least 3 enemy personnel and wounding several others.

These attacks were carried out in Zamuran, Kalat, Kharan, Quetta and Dhadar districts and several agents and forces’ personnel were arrested and their weapons were seized during these operations, BLA spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said in a statement.

In Zamuran’s Tanak area, BLA sniper warrior eliminated an enemy army personnel stationed at a enemy military camp and an army quadcopter was also shot down, he said.

On the night of September 21 and 22, BLA fighters arrested a policeman during a blockade on main highway near Sheikh Zayed Hospital in Quetta, the spokesman said, adding his weapons were seized but he was released later because of his being a local.

The same night, a gas pipeline at Kambari Pul in Dhadar was destroyed using explosives.

BLA fighters also attacked the hideout of ‘death squad’ operative Hafiz Mumtaz in the Barshonki area of Kharan on September 19, Jeeyand Baloch said.

During the raid, two gang agents were arrested, weapons and equipment were seized and the hideout was set on fire, he added.

‘Death squads’ are armed militia formed by the Pakistani military, which gets Baloch civilians killed or abducted through these proxies.

In the same area, BLA fighters took control of a Levies post and arrested four personnel, who were later released, the spokesman said.

Earlier, on September 18, BLA fighters launched a grenade attack on an army blockade in Mangochar area of Kalat, one enemy personnel was eliminated and three others were wounded, he said.

Afterward, Pakistani forces opened indiscriminate fire, which resulted in civilian injuries.

Separately, in Kalat area of Zawa, BLA fighters arrested Qaiser Abbas, an agent of Pakistani Military Intelligence (MI) from Fitand, Gujranwala. After confessing his crimes, he was sentenced to death by Baloch National Court and the sentence was carried out by freedom fighters, Jeeyand Baloch said.

“Baloch Liberation Army claims responsibility for all these operations and reiterated its determination that attacks on enemy Pakistani army and its collaborators will continue with greater intensity in the future,” the spokesman said. (NVI)
