Strict Action Warned as Udhampur Restricts Teachers’ Mobile Use in Classrooms

Udhampur,  Mar 10 (NVI): The Chief Education Office in Udhampur has issued a circular restricting the use of mobile phones by teachers during classroom teaching hours, stating that the practice adversely affects the teaching-learning process and disrupts the academic environment in schools.

As per News Vibes of India (NVI) the circular, all principals, headmasters and zonal education officers in the district have been directed to ensure that teachers refrain from using mobile phones inside classrooms while conducting classes.

The authorities have also been asked to closely monitor compliance in their respective institutions, clusters and zones. Any violation of the instructions will be viewed seriously and dealt with as per rules, the circular stated.(NVI)
