Jammu, Mar 22 (NVI): BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Sunday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on becoming the longest-serving head of government in India, stating that the milestone reflects decisive leadership and a confident, rising India on the global stage.

BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on becoming the longest-serving head of government in India’s democratic history, stating that this achievement is not merely about time but about a decisive and dynamic leadership that has transformed the very nature of governance in the country. He said that this milestone reflects India’s growing confidence, stability, and global standing.

Chugh stated that under Prime Minister Modi, “Governance redefined” is not a slogan but a lived reality. Governance has been transformed from a bureaucratic process into a participatory, transparent, and technology-driven system. From Swachh Bharat to Jan Dhan Yojana and Digital India, every initiative has focused on delivering benefits directly to the last mile.

He further said that PM Modi’s decisive and dynamic leadership has propelled India to new heights across sectors. The successful hosting of the G20 Summit, forward-looking initiatives like the AI Summit, and a renewed focus on indigenous defence manufacturing have instilled a new confidence in the nation. India today is not only capable of defending itself but is also shaping global discourse.

Chugh emphasized that during crises, especially in war-like situations and global emergencies, Prime Minister Modi has ensured the safe evacuation of Indians from across the world, reflecting a leadership that is both strong and deeply sensitive to its citizens.

Targeting the Congress, Chugh said that while the Congress leadership responded to the 26/11 attacks by effectively writing “love letters” to Pakistan, Prime Minister Modi chose a completely different path. Through surgical strikes, air strikes, and Operation Sindoor, India gave a befitting reply to terrorism in the language Pakistan understands. This marks a clear shift in India’s strategic posture.

He added that schemes like DBT, Ujjwala, Ayushman Bharat, and PM Gati Shakti have not only curbed corruption but also brought tangible improvements in the lives of the poor, women, and farmers. This achievement, he said, is not just about longevity in office but about quality, impact, and transformative governance.

Chugh concluded by stating that this historic milestone embodies the true spirit of “Pradhan Sevak,” where every decision is driven by national interest and a vision for a stronger, self-reliant, and globally respected India. (NVI)
