Baramulla, Mar 25 (NVI): A Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) of Police Baramulla, along with a police team from BOP Salamabad, on Wednesday defused an old shell at Bani Behak near village Nawarunda in Uri sector.
Officials said that the operation was carried out in a safe and controlled manner, ensuring that there was no damage to life or property in the area.
Police have urged the public to remain cautious and report any suspicious or explosive objects to the nearest authorities. (NVI)
