Reasi, Mar 28 (NVI): In a major action against terror networks, Reasi Police on Saturday attached property belonging to a terrioist linked with the banned outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba in Mahore sub-division, officials said.
In connection with FIR No. 14/2024, registered under relevant sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967, Arms Act and Explosive Substances Act at Police Station Mahore, a joint team consisting of SDPO Mahore Parul Bhardwaj JKPS, Tehsildar Mahore Javid Iqbal JKAS, SHO Mahore Inspr. Jeet Singh and revenue officials conducted a visit to Upper Angralla village and executed the legal attachment process.
During the operation, the property belonged to LET terrorist Mohd. Qasim, son of Late Mohd. Shafi, linked with the banned terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba, was formally attached under Section 25 of the UAPA.
The action was carried out in the presence of local residents and family members to ensure transparency and adherence to due legal procedure.
The attached property includes land measuring approximately 03 marlas falling under Khewat Nos. 346, 347, 349, and 350 situated at village Angralla, within the jurisdiction of Police Station Mahore. (NVI)
