Srinagar, Apr 16 (NVI): Strong gusty winds caused damage to several residential houses in Khrew area of Pulwama district on Thursday, officials said.
The winds led to the complete damage of rooftops of at least three houses in different localities, they said.
Gh. Rasool Najar, son of Ab. Ahad Najar, a resident of Androsa, suffered damage to the entire rooftop of his house. Similarly, the rooftop of Riyaz Ahmad Bhat’s house, son of Agha Ahmad Bhat and a resident of Syed Mehmodabad Wuyan, was completely damaged.
Another resident, Ab Rashid Najar, son of Mohd Ramzan from Androsa, also reported complete damage to the rooftop of his residential house due to the strong winds.
Officials said assessment of losses is underway, while no casualties have been reported so far.(NVI)
