Srinagar, Apr 21 (NVI): The Indian Army on Tuesday issued a strong message ahead of the anniversary of the Pahalgam terror attack, asserting that any breach of humanity will invite a decisive response while reaffirming national unity.

In a post on social media, the Army’s Additional Directorate General of Public Information (ADG PI) said, “When boundaries of humanity are crossed, the response is decisive. Justice is served. India stands united.”

An accompanying poster read: “Some boundaries should never be crossed. India does not forget.”

The statement comes a day before the anniversary of the April 22, 2025 terror attack in Baisaran area of Pahalgam, in which 26 people were killed, including 25 tourists and a pony ride operator.

Following the attack, India carried out retaliatory strikes on terror launch pads across the border on May 7 under Operation Sindoor. The operation continued for three days and was followed by a ceasefire announcement on May 11 at 5 pm.(NVI)
