NIA Attaches Property of Accused in 2020 Terror Case in J&K

Srinagar, Apr 24 (NVI): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday attached a property belonging to an accused currently in its custody in connection with a 2020 terror-related case in Jammu and Kashmir, sources said.

The action was carried out by an NIA team led by a Deputy Superintendent of Police, who oversaw the attachment of 11.5 marlas of land located at SK Bagh in Budgam district of central Kashmir.

The property belongs to Tafazul Hussain Parimoo, son of Abdul Rashid Parimoo, a resident of Sheikh-ul-Alam Colony, Nowgam in Srinagar.

Officials said the accused is presently lodged in NIA custody in connection with a case registered in 2020 under various sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, Arms Act and Explosive Substances Act.

The attachment proceedings were conducted in the presence of local revenue and police officials.
