Rajouri  May 11 (NVI): Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday busted an old terrioist hideout in the Rajouri district and recovered suspected militancy-related material, officials said.

According to officials, the recovery was made during a search operation conducted by the Special Operations Group (SOG) in the Sara-Simli Gali area of the Darhal belt in Rajouri district.

The seized items included five IED batteries, two old backpacks, a binocular, two syringes, shaving blades and some diary covers, officials said.

Preliminary investigation suggests that the recovered material belonged to an earlier phase of militancy in the region, officials added.(NVI)
