Srinagar, Jul 29 (NVI): Security forces on Wednesday recovered a cache of arms and ammunition during a joint search operation in an orchard area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, officials said.
Acting on specific intelligence inputs, a joint search operation was launched by the Jammu and Kashmir Police, the Army’s 34 Rashtriya Rifles and the CRPF’s 18 Battalion in the Tantrypora-Sursnoo orchard area, the officials said.
During the operation, the joint team recovered a cache of arms and ammunition, they said.
The recovered material has been seized and further investigation has been initiated, the officials added.(NVI)
