Jammu, Aug 5 (NVI): Security forces launched a search operation in the Akhnoor sector of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday after a villager reported spotting a suspected individual in the Sunail panchayat area, officials said.
They said the Army and police jointly cordoned off the area and began a search operation following the information.
Security arrangements have also been strengthened in and around the area as a precaution, while the search operation was continuing when the last reports came in, officials added.—(NVI)
