Poonch Aug 21 (NVI): An old shell was safely destroyed by an Army Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) team in the Mankote sector in Poonch district on Friday, officials said.
The operation was carried out by the BDS team, under the jurisdiction of Police Post Balnoi, at around early morning.
The shell was destroyed through a controlled blast as a precautionary measure. No injuries were reported in the incident, officials said.(NVI)
