Quetta (Balochistan), Sept 13 (NVI) Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) tonight said it killed 13 personnel of occupying Pakistani military and injured 11 in two attacks in Balochistan and disrupted a Pakistani project to loot the precious Lithium from the region.
It warned that any company, including foreign ones, engaging in Lithium mining in Balochistan or its transportation from the region would face dire consequences.
The ‘Fateh Squad’ of BLA targeted a convoy of the occupying Pakistani army’s 15 FF Bomb Disposal Party in an organized and deadly attack at Kishari in the Walpat area of Lasbela yesterday, its spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said.
The BLA fighters initiated a direct attack after targeting one vehicle of the occupying army with an IED blast.
As a result of this attack, two vehicles of the occupying army were completely destroyed, while two additional vehicles sustained heavy damage, the spokesman said.
In the attack, 9 personnel of the occupying Pakistani army were killed on the spot, while more than 11 were injured, he said.
Those killed and injured include personnel from the ‘Light Engineering Battalion’ and ’15 FF’, he added.
Separately, in Jiwani, BLA freedom fighters eliminated 4 agents of the occupying Pakistani army and Military Intelligence (MI) in an intelligence-based operation, the spokesman said.
“BLA’s intelligence wing ‘ZIRAB’ had been keeping constant surveillance on these agents for some time, as they were affiliated with the occupying army’s subsidiary ‘National Logistics Corporation’ (NLC) and engaged in intelligence activities in Jiwani,” Jeeyand Baloch said.
Furthermore, in Mashkel, BLA fighters took control of an exploitative lithium extraction project site, setting fire to and destroying 5 vehicles, including 4 drilling machines present there, he said.
Company personnel detained during the operation were safely released after a stern warning under organizational policy, he added.
The spokesman noted that Lithium is an extremely rare and strategic mineral that serves as the backbone of the 21st-century global energy transition, modern technology, and electric battery production.
“The Baloch motherland is rich in these rare natural reserves of lithium, which serve as the fundamental guarantee for the secure economic, political, and geographical future of coming generations of the Baloch nation.
“Standing on the brink of severe economic collapse and bankruptcy, the occupying Pakistani state, having exhausted financial resources to sustain its colonial occupation and military expenditures, is now making sinister attempts to auction off this valuable asset of the Baloch nation to foreign companies in the global market.
“The BLA clarifies that this act by the occupying state to prop up its falling economy through the plundering of Baloch lithium is a severe violation of international law, human rights, and the Baloch national will,” he added.
The spokesman said the BLA “makes it unequivocally clear to all international and regional mining companies, private investors, and global consortiums that neither the occupying Pakistani army nor any of its puppet administrations holds any legal, moral, or geographical right to bargain over lithium or any other mineral within the boundaries of Baloch motherland.
“Every agreement, signed document, and financial partnership made with occupying Pakistan regarding lithium prospecting, exploration, licensing, or drilling will be considered completely null, void, and illegal.
“Global companies must completely refrain from any commercial agreements with the usurping and unstable administration in Islamabad and immediately withdraw their investment, personnel, and logistical resources from all ongoing lithium projects on Baloch soil.”
He added that under its strategy of ‘economic blockade’, the BLA is committed to defending Baloch national resources, particularly sensitive national assets like lithium, with full military force.
“Taking control of the exploitative lithium extraction project site in Mashkel and setting fire to the drilling machinery is a clear link in the practical implementation of this policy and a final warning.
“If any international or local company aids in the theft of lithium under the delusion of the occupying army’s military umbrella, all its drilling sites, field camps, movements, and technical staff will be direct military targets for the BLA.
“The Baloch nation will cross every limit to protect its coast, resources, and rare minerals, and this war against exploitative projects will continue with full intensity until the establishment of an independent and sovereign Balochistan.” (NVI)
