Jammu, Sept 15 (NVI): General Officer Commanding (GOC) White Knight Corps on Tuesday reviewed the security situation and ongoing focused counter-terrorism operations during a visit to operational locations in the Surankote sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district, the Army said.
The GOC, accompanied by GOC Romeo Force, was briefed on ongoing operations aimed at dominating the Pir Panjal Range, strengthening the joint intelligence network and ensuring seamless coordination among all security agencies, the Army said in a post on X.
The Army commander commended the professional conduct and unwavering commitment of all stakeholders involved in the operations.
He also lauded the sustained efforts to deny inimical elements any operational space despite the challenging terrain and weather conditions, it said.—(NVI)
