On October 31 at 07:30 hrs, alert crew LP D.K.Das, ALP A.K.Roy, SM L.R.Bordoloi & gateman saved a herd of more than 25 elephants by stopping T/No. 55862 DN near LC gate RT-5. The train had left DEKARGAON when gateman informed SM about elephant movement & crew was alerted via VHF by SM.
