Jammu (NVI): An Indian soldier was killed in a ceasefire violation by Pakistan on the Line of Control (LoC) in Sunderbani sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Indian Army responded effectively, inflicting substantial damages to Pakistan Army, a Defence spokesperson said.
Rifleman Sukhwinder Singh (21), who attained martyrdom in the action, belonged to Fatehpur village in Hoshiarpur district of Punjab. He leaves behind his parents.
