New Delhi (NVI): New Delhi (NVI): Delhi government has announced to implement Ayushman Bharat Yojana in the national capital today amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Delhi Finance Minister Manish Sisodia today announced in the Assembly that the state will implement the centrally sponsored health insurance scheme in Delhi.
A total budget of Rs 65,000 crore was announced by Sisodia.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi rolled out the Ayushman Bharat–Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) in Ranchi, Jharkahnd in February 2018.
The insurance scheme aims to provide an annual health cover of Rs 5 lakh per family for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization.
