Baloch fighters attack Pakistani army & gas pipeline

Quetta: Pakistani military suffered losses and a gas pipeline was destroyed as Baloch freedom fighters of two groups carried out attacks in various parts of occupied Balochistan during the last few days, the outfits said.

Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) tonight said its operatives targeted the gas pipeline and the occupying Pakistani army and their supplies in three separate attacks in Mach, Balida and Dera Bugti.

BLA operatives destroyed a 24-inch diameter gas pipeline at Koh-e-Bash in Mach area of ​​Bolan last night by planting explosives, its spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said in a statement.

Following the incident, a large contingent of security forces arrived at the site and launched an investigation, he said.

Earlier, in another operation, BLA operatives seized a vehicle carrying rations to the occupying Pakistani army at the Samsoori Corps location in Bulaida.

However, later the freedom fighters released the driver from Sindh along with the vehicle, Jeeyand Baloch said.

BLA also owned responsibility for an IED attack on Pakistani military in Pir Koh Patra area of ​​Dera Bugti when the troops were leaving their post for patrolling on June 16.

A number of soldiers are believed to have been injured in the attack, he said.

“The Baloch Liberation Army accepts responsibility for these attacks and reiterates its commitment to continue fighting the enemy until an independent Baloch homeland is achieved,” Jeeyand Baloch said.

Separately, Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) said its fighters attacked the Pakistani military camp in Mand Soro,using heavy and modern weapons.

“The enemy forces suffered both human and material losses in the attack,” said
Major Gohram Baloch, spokesperson for the BLF.

He added that the BLF would continue its attacks on occupying forces until Balochistan is liberated.
