Balochistan: 8 Pakistan Army men, 2 BLA fighters killed in 15-day clashes

Bolan (Balochistan) :  At least 8 Pakistani military personnel have been killed and several injured in armed clashes with Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) in Balochistan over the last 15 days, which also claimed the lives of 2 senior commanders of the pro-freedom group.

The clashes started on April 7, 2023 from Saro area of ​​Bolan and areas adjacent to Mach, during which the enemy Pakistan Army started dropping commandos from helicopters after shelling many places, BLA said in a statement tonight.

The patrol team of Baloch Liberation Army, present in the city, carried out several attacks on the commandos of the enemy Pakistan army by ambushing at different places, it said.

“At least eight enemy personnel were killed and many were injured in these clashes,” BLA spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said.

“After being defeated by the Sarmachars, the enemy martyred three Balochs who were already in custody and threw their dead bodies in the mentioned areas,” Baloch said.

Meanwhile, a family from Mach was kept under arrest for five days, while several houses in the Saro area were destroyed, he said.

“On the second day of the clashes, two veterans of the BLA, Ghani Khan Marri Baloch alias Hasan Roki and Waleed alias Commando Bihar, achieved great martyrdom,” the spokesman said.

Both Ghani Khan Marri Baloch and Waleed alias Commando Bahar were associated with Baloch Liberation Army for the last one year, the spokesman said.

“The Baloch Liberation Army reiterates its determination that the enemy will be defeated on every front,” the spokesman declared.
