Balochistan: BLA claims killing of 12 Pakistani soldiers

Quetta, May 18 (NVI) Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) tonight claimed to have killed 12 Pakistani soldiers & its agents & injured several others in attacks at 3 places in Balochistan.

It said its freedom fighters attacked a Pakistani army post at Morgand in Shekhari area of ​​Kalat last night.

The freedom fighters attacked the positions of the occupying army from two sides simultaneously with mortars and heavy weapons, BLA spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said.

The attack, which started at 11 pm yesterday, continued till 4 am today, he said, adding 6 personnel of the occupying army were killed on the spot and several others were injured in the attack.

The enemy also suffered material losses, the spokesman said.

During the five-hour gunbattle, the Pakistani military used quadcopters to drop bombs and
helicopters also were deployed to reinforce the occupying forces, Jeeyand Baloch said.
However, the freedom fighters managed to disrupt the air support of the occupying forces as planned and reached their safe haven without any casualties, he said.

In another operation, BLA fighters targeted the occupying Pakistani force Coast Guard in the Jeyuni area of ​​Gwadar last night with a bomb attack.

The freedom fighters lobbed a hand grenade, targeting the enemy forces at the Jeyuni Police Chungi, Tak Tiab Dip area when 4 Coast Guard personnel were sitting in a vehicle, he said.
Two personnel were seriously injured as a result of the blast.

BLA operatives also raided the hideout of the so-called ‘Death Squad’ of the occupying Pakistani army and intelligence agencies in Gomazin area of ​​Panjgur last night based on intelligence information from BLA Intelligence Wing “Zarab”, the spokesman said.

They killed the key operative of the ‘Death Squad’ Mullah Amir along with three of his accomplices, he said about the big achievement.
The BLA operatives seized weapons and other equipment from the hideout, including an LMG, a rocket launcher, a Kalashnikov, a UBGL, two vehicles and a motorcycle, the spokesman said.

The agent, Mullah Amir, was a key operative of the Death Squad, which was directly involved in supporting the occupying forces in areas of Kech, including Panjgur, Jeeyand Baloch said.

The said agent was involved with the occupying Pakistani forces in house raids, enforced disappearances, and the humiliation of women and the elderly, the spokesman said.

The instrumentalist Mullah Amir was directly involved in the martyrdom of seven comrades, including Commander Hasil alias Doda, in Hoshab in March 2022, where the occupying forces targeted the BLA fighters using a drone strike.

Similarly, the said instrumentalist was also involved in the martyrdom of ten comrades, including Master Asif Baloch, in Hoshab in February 2022.
“Mullah Amir was wanted by the Baloch Liberation Army due to the martyrdom of the Sarmachars and his involvement in the Baloch genocide, which the Sarmachars brought to its logical conclusion last night,” he said. (NVI)
