Quetta, July 25 (NVI) Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) tonight claimed that it killed 23 occupying Pakistani army personnel, including a Major, and injured several others in attacks at multiple places in Balochistan.
These attacks took place in Mastung, Kalat, Zamuran, Buleda and Quetta districts, BLA spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said in a statement.
Additionally, vehicles carrying minerals out of Balochistan were also destroyed by setting fire to them in Dalbandin and Noshki, he said.
Giving details, he said the BLA freedom fighters targeted occupying Pakistani army personnel using an IED in Talkh Kavi area of Mastung yesterday.
After the attack, occupying army convoy tried to advance in the area but it was ambushed by fighters, the spokesman said.
At least, 6 personnel of occupying Pakistani army, including Major Zaid, were eliminated on the spot and 3 were injured in the attacks, he said.
Freedom fighters also targeted occupying army personnel using an IED in the Ab Gul area of Mastung, as a result of which 2 occupying army personnel were eliminated and 4 were injured, Jeeyand Baloch said.
Baloch Liberation Army freedom fighters also inflicted heavy losses on occupying Pakistani army in the Kohak area of Kalat when occupying army tried to advance with the intention of aggression on July 22., he said.
Freedom fighters ambushed occupying army’s convoy, he said, adding three vehicles of the enemy army came under direct attack.
“The cowardly enemy personnel tried to escape but were surrounded and neutralized by fighters. In the attack, 13 occupying army personnel were eliminated on the spot while enemy personnel’s weapons were also seized by fighters,” he said.
A convoy arriving to support occupying army was targeted by another squad of BLA freedom fighters, causing further casualties and property losses to the enemy army, due to which occupying enemy army was forced to retreat, the spokesman said.
Baloch Liberation Army freedom fighters also targeted and neutralized Muawiya Jamaldini, a key operative of so-called ‘death squad’ formed by the occupying Pakistani army and its intelligence agencies, in Noshki last night when he was on his way to his home in Noshki.
“Muawiya Jamaldini, an agent of occupying army, was leading an armed gang in Noshki, which was involved in targeted killings of youth and elders in Noshki, violation of Baloch code and conduct of houses with the occupying army, forcibly disappearing youth and harassing the families of Baloch martyrs. The agent was involved in blackmailing women, land grabbing and extortion under the patronage of occupying army,” the spokesman said.
BLA’s intelligence wing, ZIRAB, was monitoring every movement of agent Muawiya Jamaldini and he punished for committing treason and atrocities against Baloch people, Jeeyand Baloch said..
ZIRAB is also monitoring other associates of the gang whose fate will soon be like Muawiya Jamaldini, he added.
Meanwhile, fighters continued to blockade the main highway in Dalbandin and conduct snap checking, he said.
Earlier, on July 22, Baloch Liberation Army freedom fighters targeted occupying Pakistani army personnel in Archanan area of Zamuran with a remote-controlled IED, in which 1 personnel was neutralized on the spot, he said.
On Thursday, Baloch Liberation Army freedom fighters targeted a vehicle which was part of an occupying Pakistani army convoy in a remote-controlled IED attack in Gelli area of Buleda, as a result of which 2 personnel of occupying army were eliminated and 3 were injured while their vehicle was completely destroyed, he said.
During the intervening night of July 23 & 24, BLA freedom fighters targeted an outpost of occupying Pakistani army in Akhtarabad, Quetta, by throwing a hand grenade, the spokesman said, adding it resulted in losses to the occupying army. (NVI)
