Quetta, July 7 (NVI) Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) tonight claimed to have killed 6 personnel of the occupying Pakistani forces in 4 separate attacks in Balochistan.

The attacks, including IED blasts and direct armed assaults, were carried out on the Pakistani forces in Kalat and Turbat districts of Balochistan, said BLA spokesman Jeeyand Baloch in a statement.

He said the BLA fighters today targeted the Pakistani army in Makai area of Kalat, detonating two IEDs.

The freedom fighters first targeted the foot soldiers of the Bomb Detection Team of the Pakistani army by detonating a remote-controlled IED.

The Bomb Detection Team was carrying out sanitization in the area when it was targeted, the spokesman said, adding one soldier was killed on the spot and another was seriously injured in the blast.

Some time later, the freedom fighters targeted the occupation army’s infantry personnel by detonating another remote-controlled IED at the same location, the spokesman said, adding it resulted in the killing of 2 more occupation army personnel and the injury to one.

Earlier, in the wee hours, BLA fighters targeted occupying Pakistani army personnel in the Morgand area of Kalat when they had reached their post to collect rations.

The fighters used snipers, killing one soldier on the spot, Jeeyand Baloch said.

Meanwhile, other fighters attacked a post of the occupying army with heavy weapons and fired several shells from a grenade launcher, as a result of which the enemy suffered further casualties and material losses, the spokesman said.

BLA fighters also ambushed a convoy of Pakistani army vehicles in Ghanna area of Turbat last night.

Two vehicles of the army were directly attacked while other personnel escaped in their vehicles, the spokesman said, adding at least 2 army personnel were killed and several others were injured in the attack. (NVI)
