Quetta (Pakistan-occupied Balochistan), Jan 18 (NVI): Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed to have killed 8 Pakistani soldiers and injured several others in multiple attacks at various places in Balochistan over the last two days.
In one attack yesterday, BLA freedom fighters targeted a convoy of the occupying Pakistani army using a remote-controlled IED near Kalat city, its spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said.
The freedom fighters targeted the enemy army while the soldiers were transporting radar equipment from Quetta, he said.
One enemy soldier was eliminated and three personnel, Naik Nabeel, Naik Tanzeem and Lance Naik Wakil were injured in the blast while the vehicle was severely damaged, he said.
Earlier, on January 16, BLA freedom fighters targeted a foot patrol party of the occupying Pakistan Army between Surkhen and Nechara in Kalat with a remote-controlled IED, Jeeyand Baloch said.
Three enemy personnel were eliminated on the spot in the explosion, he said.
BLA freedom fighters also targeted the occupying Pakistani Army, its agents and supply vehicle in 5 separate attacks in Kalat, Zehri, Zamuran and Dukki, inflicting heavy losses on the occupying forces, the spokesman said.
In another operation, a squad of freedom fighters ambushed additional enemy personnel using automatic weapons, resulting in the elimination of 4 more personnel.
Prior to this, on Tuesday, BLA freedom fighters neutralized an informer of the occupying Pakistani army and intelligence agencies in Zehri in an armed attack.
The agent was carrying out intelligence work in Zehri city and its surroundings in the guise of a madman.
The BLA Intelligence Wing, “ZIRAB,” had been monitoring the movements of the agent, who was found to be actively facilitating the occupying army.
