Balochistan: BLA claims to have killed 582 Pakistani soldiers & agents, wounded 378 in 2024

Quetta (Pakistan-occupied Balochistan), Jan 5 (NVI) Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed to have killed 582 Pakistani soldiers and their agents and wounded 378 other enemy personnel in 410 attacks in Balochistan during the year 2024.

In a detailed yearly report, the freedom-seeking militant outfit said it carried out attacks on the Pakistani military, its collaborators and military installations during the year and “defeated the enemy on many fronts”.

“To achieve Baloch national liberation, the warriors of the Baloch Liberation Army targeted the occupying Pakistani army and its collaborators in special operations with innovation and intensity while demonstrating their strength as a nation by carrying out successful intelligence-based operations,” said a statement issued by its spokesman Jeeyand Baloch.

“The freedom fighters of the Baloch Liberation Army carried out a total of 302 attacks on the enemy this year, including 10 special operations and six fidayeen (self-sacrificing) operations,” he said.

Additionally, the enemy was targeted in 108 explosions of various types through the year, he added.

The freedom fighters eliminated more than 545 enemy army personnel in the year 2024, and as a result of various types of attacks, more than 378 enemy army personnel were wounded, the statement said.

“Thirty-seven agents involved in informing and facilitating the occupying forces were neutralized, including those who were arrested in raids and sentenced to death by the Baloch National Court after confessing to their crimes,” it said.

In 173 operations, the enemy army suffered various types of property losses, including enemy vehicles, motorcycles, surveillance drones, railway tracks, gas pipelines, mineral-carrying vehicles and railway bridges, the BLA said.

The Majeed Brigade of the Baloch Liberation Army, which specializes in suicide attacks, carried out six operations, in which a total of 37 fidayeen participated, the spokesman said.

“In Operation Darra-e-Bolan, the Fidayeen of the Majeed Brigade targeted and captured the Mach military headquarters and under Operation ZirPahazag, the offices of Pakistani intelligence agencies in Gwadar and the Pakistani Naval Air Base in Turbat were attacked and captured,” he said.

“During Operation Herof, the Bela headquarters was attacked and captured for several hours,” he said.

“In addition, Pakistan’s partner China in Karachi and Pakistani army non-commissioned officers in Quetta were targeted in attacks,” the spokesman said.

Baloch Liberation Army’s special squads, the Special Tactical Operations Squad (STOS) and Fateh Squad, carried out four operations.

Fateh Squad arrested Pakistani intelligence personnel in an intelligence-based operation in Shaban, a suburb of Quetta, while, along with STOS, Fateh Squad captured the occupying army camp in the Iskalko area of ​​Kalat.

In November, Fateh Squad captured the main camp of the occupying army in a major attack in the Shah Mardan area of ​​Kalat.

The BLA’s Special Tactical Operations Squad arrested and neutralized Pakistani intelligence personnel in an intelligence-based operation in Noshki.

During the year 2024, BLA freedom fighters set up blockades at 25 locations across Balochistan on major highways, while 15 camps of the occupying army and its sub-forces were captured in the operations.

This year, 55 agents were arrested.

The warriors seized a huge quantity of arms and ammunition from the enemy army in various operations in the year 2024.

“In the year 2024, 52 brave freedom fighters of the Baloch Liberation Army attained the status of martyrdom, including 37 Fidayeen of the BLA Majeed Brigade were martyred in deadly attacks targeting the occupying Pakistani army, intelligence agencies personnel and Pakistan’s partner China,” the spokesman said.

“The Baloch Liberation Army will continue to target enemy forces, their partners, installations and agents until the enemy is forced to completely withdraw from Balochistan,” the spokesman declared.

Meanwhile, Baloch Liberation Front (BLF), another freedom-seeking militant group, said it killed 316 Pakistani military personnel and agents and injured 167 in 284 attacks in Balochistan during the year 2024. (NVI)
