Balochistan: BLA killed 8 Pakistani soldiers, injured 3 in 2 attacks

Quetta, Oct 9 (NVI): Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) today said it killed 8 soldiers of the occupying Pakistan Army and injured 3 in two separate attacks in Mastung in Balochistan during the day.

One armoured vehicle was also destroyed and 4 other vehicles were seriously damaged in these two attacks, BLA spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said in a statement to NVI.

In one incident, BLA freedom fighters ambushed a convoy of the occupying Pakistan army in Gondin Maru area of ​​Spalanji in Mastung, he said.

The BLA fighters used heavy and automatic weapons, killing 8 soldiers and severely damaging two military vehicles, the spokesman said.

Meanwhile, an armoured vehicle of the enemy army arrived to reinforce the convoy under attack, he said, adding it was targeted by another squad of the BLA fighters with a remote-controlled IED.

As a result, 3 more enemy soldiers were injured while the armoured vehicle was completely destroyed.

Due to the IED attack, the enemy army failed to advance, Jeeyand Baloch said.

After the attack, helicopters of the enemy army arrived in the area, but the BLA fighters had moved to their safe havens after the attacks as per the systematic planning.
