Balochistan: BLA says it attacked Pakistani army at 51 places, killed 40 & injured dozens

Quetta, May 11 (NVI) During the height of India-Pakistan military escalation earlier this week, Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) opened another front for the Pakistani military as it carried out 71 coordinated attacks, which went on for many hours, at more than 51 locations across the occupied Balochistan.
In a statement today, the BLA said the attacks targeting military convoys, checkpoints, intelligence centers, mineral transport vehicles, and death squads were part of military exercises in preparation for ‘Operation Herof’.

“The aim of these attacks was not simply to destroy the enemy but to test military coordination, ground control, and defensive positions, in order to strengthen readiness for future organized warfare,” said BLA spokesman Jeeyand Baloch.

“The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) commanders took complete control of the oshab area of ​​Kech. The commanders took positions at various places in the area and continued the snap-checking process on the highway,” he said.

“During this time, they took control of the Levies police station and the NADRA office and after taking possession of all the weapons and war material of the forces personnel, they set fire to both the buildings,” he said.

The Sarmachars detained 14 people from Sindh during snap checking who were later released.

The occupying forces attempted to advance at Hoshab Zero Point, where the fighters targeted the enemy army convoy with automatic weapons, he said, adding the enemy Pakistani army suffered heavy casualties in the attack.

Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) commanders set up a blockade in the Washbod area of ​​Panjgur and maintained control of the area for hours.

“The BLA commanders detained two police force vehicles and seized all their weapons, including seven Kalashnikovs, seven pistols, two G-3s and two under-barrel grenade launchers. The commanders later set fire to both the force vehicles and released the personnel,” the spokesman said.

Baloch Liberation Army commanders took up positions at various locations in the Bonistan area of ​​Panjgur and took control of the area for more than four hours and continued the snap-checking process on the main highway, he said.

During this time, a death squad vehicle formed by the occupying Pakistani army and intelligence agencies tried to escape, where the operatives of the so-called death squad leader Qasim were injured in the attack by the commanders.

The occupying Pakistani army tried to advance in the Majurabad area of ​​Bonistan, but was ambushed and subjected to a severe attack.

Three vehicles of the occupying army came under attack, as a result of which 14 personnel of the occupying army were killed on the spot and many personnel fled injured, he said.

In the attack, one vehicle of the occupying army caught fire, while the other two vehicles were also disabled, while the surveillance drone of the enemy army was shot down by the fighters, Jeeyand Baloch said.

The militants blocked the highway for several hours at the Goran area of ​​Panjgur and during this time, one vehicle carrying minerals was set on fire and two were disabled by firing.

Meanwhile, the Sarmachars maintained control of the area by blocking the Rakhshan area in Panjgur for several hours.

BLA militants blocked the main highway N-65 connecting Balochistan with Sindh at Dasht, Thira Mile, Mastung, adjacent to Quetta, for four hours.

The militants attacked a post of the occupying Pakistani army in the area with rockets and other automatic weapons, killing at least 3 personnel and injuring several others.

Several mortar shells were fired at the militants from the said post, however, the militants remained safe and held their positions firmly.

During this time, the occupying army tried to advance in the form of a convoy, which was attacked by the Sarmachars. Clashes continued between the occupying army and the Sarmachars for a long time, after which the occupying army was forced to retreat.

On Friday morning, Baloch Liberation Army operatives targeted and disabled six vehicles carrying chromite and other minerals in the Khadkocha area of ​​Mastung.

Five soldiers of the occupying army were killed on the spot and at least three others were injured in the attack.

BLA commanders took control of the Ahmed Wal area in Noshki for more than four hours during which they took up positions at various locations in the area, while they continued to conduct snap checks by setting up a blockade on the Quetta-Taftan RCD highway.

The commanders detained four suspects, who are being interrogated.

The fighters also took control of the railway station and Levies post and confiscated the weapons of the forces personnel. The post was later set on fire.

Baloch Liberation Army militants targeted the occupying Pakistani army at 14 locations in Quetta city with grenade launchers and hand grenades.

These attacks included the main headquarters of the occupying army in Shahbaz Town, Captain Safar Khan Check Post on Qambrani Road, Hazara Town Post, ANF at Burma Hotel, two posts in Faizabad, a post on Joint Road, Hazar Ganji Post, Faizabad Railway Patak Post, a post on Spini Road, a post on Bururi Road, two attacks on Kechi Beg Police Station and one attack on Sariab Police Station.

In total, 4 occupying army personnel were killed and at least 11 personnel were injured in these attacks.

The Sarmachars killed two persons, Muhammad Asghar son of Faiz Bakhsh, a resident of Bahawalpur, and Muhammad Ishaq son of Abdul Razzaq, a resident of Rahim Yar Khan, in an armed attack on Civil Hospital Road in Lasbela, Othal.

The said persons were working as informers and agents for the occupying Pakistani army and intelligence agencies. They were sentenced to death based on intelligence information provided by Zarab.

The Sarmachars carried out seven operations in Turbat, including rockets, grenades, armed attacks and blockades.

The Sarmachars blockaded the Dasht, Kanchati Cross on the M-8 highway for more than two hours. During this, an armored vehicle of the advancing occupation army was targeted in the attack.

The Sarmachars targeted posts and outposts of the Pakistani army occupying villages, Gehna, Nasirabad, Heerabad, Mirabad, and Jadgal Dun (D-Baloch Point).

Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) operatives ambushed and attacked the occupying Pakistani army in the Kohar area of ​​Tamp while they were advancing in the area for military aggression. Two enemy personnel were killed on the spot in the attack.

The Sarmachars patrolled Mand Balochabad and addressed the public, while the blockade continued.

The militants fired several rounds from a grenade launcher at the occupied Pakistani Army’s Military Intelligence (MI) office at the Grade Station in Tamp.

The occupation army camp in Blida, Al-Nador and the FWO vehicles parked there were targeted.

The occupation army post in Blida, Gili was also targeted in the attack and at least 3 occupation army personnel were killed in these attacks while the enemy suffered material losses, he said.

Two soldiers of the occupying army were killed in two separate sniper attacks in the Tolangi and Kuluki areas of Zamran.

The militants targeted the foot soldiers of the occupying Pakistani army in a remote-controlled ID attack in the Jobshan area of ​​Zamran when they came out of their post to fetch water. The explosion killed both the soldiers of the occupying army on the spot.

Baloch Liberation Army militants targeted police stations in Bolan, Bhag and Dhadar with grenade attacks.

Blockades were set up for hours on main highways in Sohbatpur, Dera Murad Jamali, and Nutal, while three vehicles carrying coal were targeted during a blockade on the highway in Sibi, one of which was set on fire.

These coordinated, systematic, and decisive actions of the Baloch Liberation Army under Operation Herof not only caused casualties and material losses to the enemy, but were also rehearsals for the second phase of Operation Herof. (NVI)
