Quetta (Balochistan), Jan 12 (NVI) Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) tonight claimed to have targeted the occupying Pakistani army, so-called ‘death squad’ operatives and vehicles carrying minerals in four separate operations in Mastung, Kohlu, Tamp, and Nushki districts of Balochistan.
BLA freedom fighters ambushed a unit of the occupying Pakistani army in Spalanji area of Mastung this afternoon when it was advancing for military aggression, its spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said in a statement to NVI.
At least two enemy army personnel were injured in the attack, he said.
BLA fighters also attacked the camp of the so-called ‘Death Squad’ at Lond in the Noye Sham area of Kohlu last evening, he said.
“Eight cowardly death squad operatives abandoned their weapons and other equipment and fled,” the spokesman said.
Three death squad operatives were injured in their attempt to escape, including one seriously, he said, adding fighters seized the weapons of the operatives and set their camp on fire.
“The above-mentioned operatives have been repeatedly warned to stop supporting the occupying army,” Jeeyand Baloch said, adding that in future too such people would be targeted.
In another operation, BLA fighters killed a key operative of the so-called death squad working on parole of the occupying Pakistani army, in an armed attack in the Kohad area of Tamp yesterday and seized his weapons and motorcycle, he said.
“The said operative was directly involved in the formation of armed groups in the area, including raids on houses, along with the occupying forces. He was also found involved in the targeted killing of armed youths,” the spokesman said.
“Other operatives associated with this network have been identified by the BLA Intelligence Wing “Zarab” and thet will soon be brought to their logical end,” he said.
Separately, BLA operatives targeted three trucks involved in the looting of Baloch national resources at Badal Karez Cross in Noshki last evening, the spokesman said.
The operatives set one truck on fire and destroyed it, while two trucks were severely damaged by firing, he said.
“The BLA will not allow anyone to loot Baloch national resources in all of Balochistan, including Kohistan-e-Mari. Anyone found involved in this process will be our target,” the spokesman declared. (NVI)
