Quetta: Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) tonight said its freedom fighters targeted occupying Pakistani military and state installations in attacks in Harnai, Panjgur and Bulaida areas of Balochistan, causing an unspecified number of casualties and damage to assets.

In Harnai, BLA fighters targeted Gichen post of Pakistani military with automatic weapons and grenade launchers last night, the outfit’s spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said in a statement sent to News Vibes of India (NVI).

Two enemy personnel were eliminated and several more were injured in this attack, he added.

After the attack, the defeated enemy forces indiscriminately fired mortar rounds in aimless directions but the BLA forces had already reached their desired locations after successful execution of the operation, Baloch said.

In another attack last night in Gichk, Panjgur, the main military camp of the enemy forces was targeted in Kahn area, the spokesman said.

The enemy forces suffered heavy losses in the attack, he added.

In the third attack, BLA fighters destroyed a communications tower of a Pakistani state corporation in Kaduki, Bulaida last evening, he said.

The tower was being used by the enemy forces, Baloch said.

“BLA will continue to target occupying forces until their full withdrawal from Balochistan,” the spokesman said.
