Balochistan: BLA says it killed 8 Pakistani soldiers, injured 4 during an operation

Quetta: Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed to have eliminated 8 personnel of the Pakistani military and injured 4 while conducting a four-hour blockade of the main highway in Noshki district of Balochistan.

Freedom fighters of BLA set up checkpoints at Sher Jan Agha in the Kishangi area of ​​the Quetta-Taftan main highway, which continued for four hours, its spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said in a statement.

During this period of the intervening night of June 9 and 10, the freedom fighters conducted snap checks of vehicles and identity check of the people moving around to ascertain whether they belonged to the armed forces.

At that time, a convoy of occupier Pakistan Army was seen moving towards the area on the highway where BLA freedom fighters were conducting checks.

 

This convoy was ambushed by another squad of freedom fighters and attacked with rockets and other heavy weapons, the BLA spokesman said.

Three vehicles of the convoy were destroyed in the attack, as a result of which 8 occupying army personnel were eliminated on the spot, while at least 4 personnel were injured, Jeeyand Baloch said. (NVI)
