Quetta, Aug 3 (NVI) At least 22 Pakistani soldiers were killed and 14, including a Captain, were injured in a major attack by Baloch Raaji Ajoi Sangar (BRAS) on the main camp of the occupying Army in Panjgur district of Balochistan, said the spokesman of the freedom-seeking armed organisation.
The freedom fighters of BRAS took “control of an important part of the camp and inflicted heavy casualties and losses on the enemy military,” said the spokesman Baloch Khan in a statement about the attack at the camp inn Matin Goran area of Panjgur.
BRAS is a conglomerate of various armed Baloch groups like Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) and Baloch Republication Guards (BRG).
“In this decisive clash, 22 personnel of the occupying army were killed while more than 14, including Captain Osama were injured,” the spokesman said.
He said the freedom fighters seized the enemy’s war weapons, ammunition and other important equipment in the operation, during which one brave freedom fighter Amir alias Baba also lost his life.
“The operation was carried out at around 6:00 PM on August 1, when the BRAS commanders attacked the main camp of the 91st Wing of the occupying army in Goran and its adjacent outposts from three sides,” the spokesman said, giving details.
“In the clash that lasted for two hours, the commanders took complete control of a large part of the camp, including two important posts,” he said.
“As a result of the unexpected and coordinated attack on the enemy camp, the occupying army suffered heavy casualties, while its leadership and communication structure were severely affected,” Baloch Khan said.
The freedom fighters seized Kalashnikovs, G3s, machine guns, night vision devices, thermal scanners and other important equipment from the Pakistani military, he said.
The BRAS fighters also remained on the CPEC route at two locations to prevent the enemy from sending reinforcements, he said.
“However, the enemy army, as usual, showed cowardice and could not reach the aid of its besieged personnel. The freedom fighters also targeted and destroyed the spy cameras installed for monitoring the enemy, which further damaged its intelligence structure,” he said.
“During the operation, the moment they took control of a post, three officers were surrounded by the freedom fighters. Amir alias Baba, who was on the front line, persuaded these officers to surrender without any loss of life. But at the same time, he was the target of enemy fire from the rear,” he said.
“Despite being seriously injured, Amir covered a short distance, but due to excessive bleeding, he followed the philosophy of the last bullet in accordance with his ideological commitment and saved himself from being captured by the enemy and sent his comrades off,” the spokesman said.
Paying rich tributes to the fallen fighter, Baloch Khan said Amir “remained a practical example of continuous struggle with discipline, courage and discipline even in the most difficult conditions.”
“BRAS reiterates its resolve that the sacrifices of Shaheed Sarmchar Amir alias Baba and other martyrs are the foundation of our struggle and the foundation of our progress. Such attacks on the enemy forces will not only continue but will also intensify and expand,” he said.
“Baloch Raji Ajoi Sangar (BRAS) along with all its fihters, allied organizations and revolutionary workers is determined to continue this struggle until the complete defeat of the enemy and the independence of Balochistan,” the spokesman declared. (NVI)
