Quetta, May 10 (NVI) Even as the Pakistan Army was busy targeting multiple places in India, Baloch freedom fighters tonight launched massive coordinated attacks against Pakistani military and infrastructure at various places across Balochistan.

In Hoshab Tehsil of Kech district, a large number of freedom fighters took control of the area and set fire to the Levies police station and the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) office.

In the same district, explosions and intense gunfire have been reported from the Buleda area, according to local sources.

Details are not yet clear as communication is restricted in the region.

Some freedom fighters also established blockades on the M-8 highway, a key route of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

They checked vehicles for military personnel and reportedly took custody of several individuals.

In Turbat district, a grenade attack was reported in the D Baloch area, targeting Pakistani forces. The damage and the casualties caused is yet to be known.

Quetta saw two separate grenade attacks on Pakistani army posts in the Hazarganji and Faizabad areas.

In Panjgur district, there were attacks at various places, including in Washbod area where armed men established a blockade on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) highway.

They stopped vehicles and checked identity of passengers, apparently to look for military personnel.

Elsewhere in the same district, two police vehicles were seized along with arms and several police officials were reportedly detained by the attackers.

A police station was also captured, its weapons seized, and subsequently it was set ablaze, sources said

A check post in the Bonistan area was also taken over by the armed men.

The Baloch fighters also set up checkpoints along the N-25 National Highway in Dasht, approximately 45.6 kilometers from Quetta.

There were reports of heavy gunfire and explosions but more details were not available yet.

These attacks by the Baloch freedom fighters came even as the Pakistani military was busy carrying out cross-border drone attacks at several places in India, from North to South.

The Indian Armed Forces are giving a befitting response to Pakistan. (NVI)
