Srinagar, Aug 19 (NVI): The BJP’s Jammu and Kashmir unit will hold a two-day core body and organisational meeting in Srinagar on August 23 and 24, party leaders said on Wednesday.
This will be the first state-level organisational meeting of its kind to be held by the BJP in Srinagar, they said.
Senior BJP leaders from Jammu and Kashmir, members of Parliament, MLAs and senior functionaries from Delhi are expected to participate in the meetings.
The State Core Committee, state office-bearers and other senior leaders will meet on August 23, while BJP MLAs from Jammu will participate in the organisational meeting on August 24.
The meetings are expected to deliberate on organisational matters, review the party’s functioning, strengthen its organisational structure and chalk out the future course of action in Jammu and Kashmir, the party said.(NVI)
