Quetta (Pakistan-occupied Balochistan) :

Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) tonight said it killed 2 Pakistani soldiers and injured 3 in an attack on the CPEC route in Balochistan.

The casualties were caused by an IED blast targeting a Pakistani military vehicle on CPEC route near Panjgur, BLA spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said.

“In the IED attack, two enemy personnel were killed, three were injured and the vehicle was destroyed,” he said.

CPEC is China-Pakistan Economic Corridor being built by Beijing despite strong opposition by the people of Pakistan-occupied Balochistan.

Baloch people say the CPEC is being used as a ruse to exploit the rich natural resources of Balochistan.

“BLA will continue to target Pakistani occupation troops until their full withdrawal from Balochistan,” the spokesman said in a statement.
