Quetta: Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has killed a Pakistani soldier and an agent and injured 2 soldiers in separate attacks in occupied-Balochistan, according to the freedom fighting group.
Freedom fighters of Baloch Liberation Army targeted Pakistani military in Zamuran and an important member of a death squad in Noshki, it said in a statement.
In Noshki, a key member of a death squad, Babo Hameed Mandai alis Sami, was targeted and eliminated, BLA spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said.
“Babo Hameed deceived Baloch freedom fighters in 2019 and got them arrested. He himself surrendered before the enemy and later led an enemy-sponsored death squad in Batto, Reko, Doh Seh, Munjro and Ahmed Wall,” he said.
“He was involved in abetting Pakistani military in enforced disappearances of Baloch youth and raids on civilians houses,” BLA spokesman said.
In June 2022, he aided Pakistani military in advances after a drone attack in Makhbali area of Noshki, Jeeyand Baloch said.
He was also directly involved in military aggressions in various areas of Noshki and Kharan including in Doh Seh, Hazda Khaol, Makhbali and Lijjay areas, he said.
“For his treasonous crimes, Babo Hameed was on the hit list of Baloch Liberation Army,” Jeeyand Baloch said.
He was ultimately eliminated yesterday.
In another operation, BLA fighters targeted a post of Pakistani military in Abdoi Zamuran on the night of July 29.
“At least one enemy personnel, identified as Waheed Ullah, was killed and two more were injured in the attack,” Jeeyand Baloch said.
