Quetta: Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) tonight said it carried out attacks on Pakistan Army on the CPEC route in Balochistan and vowed to intensify such operations until Pakistan remains in illegal occupation of the territory.
BLA fighters targeted the occupying Pakistan Army in Tajaban, Kirki and Kolwa areas of Kech in three separate attacks, killing 3 enemy personnel and wounding 7, the pro-freedom outfit’s spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said in a statement to NVI.
The enemy’s surveillance drone was also shot down.
In Tajaban, BLA operatives attacked the main camp of Pakistan Army occupying CPEC route, he said.
The BLA fighters used rockets and other automatic weapons, resulting in killing of at least 2 enemy personnel on the spot and injuries to three, Baloch said.
Another squad of BLA freedom fighters attacked a Pakistan Army post in the Kirki area, resulting in the killing of one enemy soldier on the spot and injuries to at least two others, he said.
In the third attack, BLA operatives targeted a post of the occupying Pakistan Army in Rudkan area of Kolwah by firing grenade launcher shells.
The freedom fighters fired several shells at the enemy from the grenade launcher as a result of which two enemy personnel were injured, the spokesman said.
“During the attack, the enemy used a surveillance drone which was shot down by the freedom fighters,” Baloch said.
“The Baloch Liberation Army accepts responsibility for the three attacks mentioned above and reiterates its commitment that our operations will continue with intensity until the complete withdrawal of the occupying forces,” the spokesman declared.
