Quetta: Carrying out multiple attacks at various places in occupied Balochistan, Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has killed 2 personnel of the Pakistani military and injured 11 while destroying a government stall set up to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day, according to the freedom-fighting group.

At least 4 attacks, targeting the occupying Pakistani military and its collaborators, were carried out in Quetta, Turbat and Tump, BLA said.

In Quetta’s Moti Ram road, the BLA fighters triggered an IED blast at a shop selling Pakistani flags as part of Pakistan’s Independence Day on August 14.

“Two enemy collaborators were killed on the spot, four were injured and the shop was fully destroyed,” BLA spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said in a statement.

“The disoriented undercover enemy personnel carried out intense gunfire after the attack, and tried hard to hide their losses from the media,” he added.

In another attack in Quetta, BLA fighters targeted Haidar Karar Post of Pakistani military at Western bypass, the spokesman said.

In the hand grenade attack, 2 enemy personnel were injured, Jeeyand Baloch said, adding that unnerved soldiers opened fire in which a passerby was killed.

In Nasirabad in Turbat, BLA fighters targeted a Pakistani post, in which 2 enemy personnel were injured and the post was severely damaged, he said.

In Tump in Kalaho, BLA fighters attacked a Pakistani military post with several grenades, injuring 3 enemy personnel.
