Quetta: Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) tonight said it eliminated 4 personnel of Pakistani military and injured 2 in Balochistan.

In Gilli Bulaida area, BLA fighters carried out an IED attack on a vehicle which was part of a convoy of Pakistani military, its spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said.

Four enemy personnel were eliminated and two were injured in this attack, he said in a statement to NVI.

Earlier, on 19th March, an agent of Pakistani military agencies and the former Director of Radio Pakistan, Sultan Ahmed Shahwani, was targeted with a hand grenade, he said.

The BLA fighters refrained from inflicting physical damages to Shahwani, Baloch said, adding the attack was only to serve as a warning to him and others like him who support the occupying Pakistan Army.

This person is on payroll of Pakistani military intelligence and is furthering their agenda through different events, the spokesman said, justifying the attack.

“We want to tell Sultan Shawani and his collaborators that they should immediately halt their anti-Baloch activities or our future attacks will be severe,” Baloch said.

“BLA will continue to target enemy forces till their full withdrawal from Balochistan,” the spokesman repeated.
