Quetta: Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) tonight said it has eliminated 9 officials of Pakistani secret agencies in civil dress after their proper identification.

The operation was carried out in Nushki district of Balochistan last night and all the killed people hailed from Punjab Province of Pakistan.

The slain officials were detained when they were travelling in public buses which were intercepted by the Special Tactical Operations Squad (STOS) of BLA following specific intelligence input, according to the outfit’s spokesman Jeeyand Baloch.

The STOC “blocked and checked the vehicles at Sultan Chaldai on the RCD highway, three kilometers away from Nushki city,” the spokesman said.

The STOC carried out the blockade following information shared by the intelligence wing of the BLA that Pakistani secret service personnel were traveling in plain clothes in public buses, he said.
To conduct proper searches, the said highway was completely blocked for 3 hours by the freedom fighters, he said.
“During the blockade, various coaches were stopped and searched,” Jeeyand Baloch said.
Nine suspects were detained from a coach, the spokesman said.
After investigation and search, their identity cards and a large number of SIM cards were recovered from them, he said.

After their identities as officials of the secret agencies were established, they were killed on the spot, he said.

Meanwhile, another squad of BLA operatives destroyed a railway track by detonating explosives.

Another group of BLA attacked a camp and arms depot of the occupying Pakistani army on Khaisar Nala in Nushki with rockets and other automatic weapons, the spokesman said.

This attack continued for more than 20 minutes, in which the enemy army suffered heavy casualties, he added.

“The Baloch Liberation Army claims responsibility for all these attacks and makes it clear that the BLA will continue to attack them, whether they are enemy army personnel, plain-clothes intelligence operatives, or local facilitators, until the enemy is forced to withdraw its army from the Baloch land and recognize the independent Baloch homeland, he said.
