Shaal (Balochistan): Baloch National Movement (BNM) has decided to step up its campaign for independence of Balochistan from Pakistan, for which it will work for alliance with other pro-freedom groups and amplify the cause in an effective manner through various modes, including the social media.
Such vital decisions were taken at the Second Central Committee meeting of the BNM presided over by the party Chairman Dr. Naseem Baloch.
The issues that dominated the meeting were the discussions on the situation in Balochistan and the region, future course of action and unity among the Baloch nationalist political parties, according to a statement sent by BNM to the News Vibes of India (NVI).
“The Central Committee appointed Chairman Dr. Naseem Baloch, former Chairman Khalil Baloch and Sattar Baloch to formalize the long-standing efforts of cooperation between pro-Independence Baloch nationalist political parties and to start negotiations with the pro-Independence parties,” it said.
This committee will frame the terms and conditions of the alliance on behalf of the party, said the statement issued by the BNM’s Information and Cultural Secretary Qazi Dad Mohammad Rehan.

The Central Committee delegated the authority to the Chairman to select the members of the delegations for negotiations with pro-independence parties.
They would negotiate with the pro-Independence parties for cooperation under the decided formula of the relevant committee.
Discussing the situation in Balochistan and the region, the Central Committee “expressed deep concerns about the involvement of multinational companies in the looting of Baloch resources in Balochistan.”
It decided to launch a campaign to resist the exploitation of national wealth, the statement said.
“In light of this decision, BNM’s Foreign Affairs Department will write letters to inform the concerned companies and countries to express their concerns to them,” it said.
The policy-making body of BNM termed the so-called Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Pakistan as “the important weapon used in the Baloch Genocide, and called it an attempt to push the Baloch nation towards civil war.”
The party appealed to the youth not to be a part of this enemy force.
The party would conduct an awareness campaign to prevent recruitment in CTD.
