Srinagar, Aug 03 (NVI) : A Border Security Force soldier posted at NITI post Tangdhar in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district committed suicide by shooting himself with his service riffle on Saturday.
An official told News Vibes of India—(NVI) that a BSF man identified as GD Ram Kumar of 89 battalion, who was posted at FDL NITI Post Tandghar in Kupwara shot himself with his service rifle resulting in his on the spot death.
The body of Kumar was shifted to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Tangdhar for medico-legal formalities,he said.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started an investigation.(News Vibes of India)
