Srinagar, May 25 (NVI): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday handed over regularisation orders to Contingent Paid Workers (CPWs) of the School Education Department at a function held at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar.
Education Minister Sakina Itoo was also present on the occasion.
Officials said the Chief Minister distributed regularisation orders among CPWs from Ganderbal and Bandipora districts and congratulated them on the occasion.
Addressing the employees, Abdullah urged them to work with sincerity, dedication and commitment for the betterment of the School Education Department and to ensure improved public service delivery.
Senior officers, including Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Dheeraj Gupta, Special Secretary School Education Ghulam Rasool Mir and Director School Education Kashmir Naseer Ahmed Wani, were present during the programme.
The beneficiaries thanked the government for resolving their long-pending issue and providing them regularisation orders.(NVI)
